All Weekend Plans... RUINED!

Most everybody read my blog about KILL THE HILL.
Our first game of the season...
this is how it went...
Friday afternoon I came home and got dressed all pretty in my drum major unitor.m. As I was getting ready it started to thunder like crazy, which later turned into lightning and rain. By about 7 the rain had stopped! I marched the band out to the football field and we did pre-game [which was AWSOME] After pre-game we marched to the stands where we were given the annoncement the game had been postponed due to lighting in the area. We went back in the band room until 8:00--the game was back on! I once again lined up the band and we marched down to the field. As we got to the stands, the POWER WENT OUT! At 9:00 Dr. D came and told us to pack it up and go home. I was soo mad! The game was played early this morning, and I missed it because I had to go to a carwash. I called a friend of mine every 45 min. to get an update... we lost 24 TO 22!!!!!


Since we had a carwash and the game was at the same time, I missed it.... not only did I miss our game, but I also missed the Georgia/ Georgia Southern game at Pastor David's! This weekend has turned out pretty bad!


On the other hand, we made $206 at the car wash and I am going out tonight with my mommy and some of her friends. I hope that the weekend improves and is full of fun from now on!
