Best Friends, New Year, and the Great Pizza Run!

For New Year's Eve I spent my morning at work. I had fun though. Then I left and came home to be greeted by my honey Josh. Josh and my parents, brother and I went to my uncle's house to have a little get together. We were sitting around and talking when someone made a comment that made me think of my best friend Katie. Katie went to Washington D.C. to see her mom for Christmas and I dearly missed her. Not too long after the comment made me a little sad my bestie Katie was calling and saying she was HOME!!!

I met her at my house and that is when the party started! Katie makes everything more fun!

We returned to my uncle's house for a while then we went to another party. My mom and dad's best friends.

We laughed at drunk people singing and dancing. One of the three of us had a little too much fun, directly causing the other two to laugh hysterically!

We got home around 1 AM. I made Katie and I some hot chocolate and we crashed shortly after.

The Great Pizza Run:
I woke up this afternoon around 12:30 expecting Katie to be beside me.... but she wasn't. I was the last person awake. We decided to get Papa John's Pizza for lunch. If you have never had Papa John's pizza with their special Garlic sauce... you need to go get some right now!

Anyway, Katie and I jumped in my little black truck and headed to pick up out pizza. My dad gave me a $100 bill to pay with... [Note to readers and self: Papa John's does not accept bills larger than $20!] So, when we got there to get our pizza it was a problem! And today just so happens to be January 1, 2009... the banks are CLOSED! After driving through the drive through at the bank to discover this lovely tidbit of information, I almost hit a small child who RAN OUT IN FRONT OF MY TRUCK...WHILE IT WAS MOVING!!!!!
Needless to say I said some not nice phrases to the parents through my window.
Pulling out of the bank I decided to try Zaxby's for change. They did have change but they wouldn't trade me unless I bought something. I bought a coke... LOL.
We returned to Papa John's to get our pizza, returned to my house... between five people we ate 10 garlic Parmesan breadsticks, a whole entire large pizza and a half of another large pizza... All while watching the Georgia and Michigan State game. GO DAWGS! We won 24-12....


My new year started extremely eventful. I hope the rest of the year is just as fun!
