Vans Warped Tour by Jerry

My big little brother wrote this poem for his English class at school. I like it! I think its awesome! Dude has skills. Check it out!

Vans Warped Tour

The fans are screaming

The bands are playing

Everyone's wearing their vans

and time seems like it's

warped when your in

the mosh-pit. It's the

Vans Warped Tour. All

9,404 fans are screaming

like dying monkeys. The

bands are wild beasts

giving their children

an excellent feast.

Everyone is waiting

on the next band

there's one man

standing in the

middle of the

stage. He's standing

in the stagelights

with a little fright.

He picks up his

guitar and the

crowd becomes

silent. He plays

a chord and

another then

more music

comes in

It's what you

would never expect

when the band starts

forming the song everyone

knows what's going on.

It's the awesomest band

ever. It's As I Lay Dying

and the song's called

Through Struggle.

As the singer screams

and the fans head-bang

it seems it would never

come to an end.

Three songs later

the guitar gets

smashed and

the tour is over.

It's sad when

it's 2 months

later you listen

to the bands

that amazed you that

night. Then the

fright strikes.

You don't want to

miss next tour

but the tickets

are bought and

hanging off your

door. It's time

for the next

Vans Warped Tour.

I am so proud of my brother. That is one awesome poem. I did a little editing for grammatical errors with his permission. Hopefully I can share more of Jerry's work with you guys. It is pretty cool. Maybe we can go to the Vans Warped Tour! :D
